In this short video, Michael Pollan explains why, if you want to eat French fries and other things that aren’t supposed to be very good for you, you should cook them yourself.

Michael Pollan is an American author, journalist, activist, and professor of journalism at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. He is the author of several books, including The Omnivore’s Dilemma, In Defense of Food and Food Rules.

We are big fans of Michael Pollan, and reading his books had a big impact on our approach to food.

If you like food nutrition and a  philosophical approach to the question, I  encourage you to see this video that goes a bit more into depth
