Launched in the US in 2012 by Karina Kallio, children’s clothing brand Kallio is dedicated to sustainable design, recycling by taking the beloved basics from previous generations and re-imagining them into the everyday one-of-a-kind fashion of the next. The collection is produced by hand in New York, in ethical factories.

There are only 12 styles in the collection, but every piece is unique, mainly done out of Vintage Men’s Shirts. The range currently covers ages 2-8y and there might be a baby clothing line soon as many people have expressed interest for smaller sizes.

Kallio was part of the last two editions of Playtime New York, and will show there again in March 14. The F/W collection is available at Allegria Boutique (Williamsburg NYC), Kallionyc.com, africaandleo.com, brooklynmakers.com.
