Swedish furniture, carry on stool by Mattias Stenberg

Swedish furniture manufacturer Offecct was founded in 1990. The company works closely with some of the world’s most renowned designers such as Jean-Marie Massaud, Christophe Pillet, Karim Rashid, Michael Sodeau and Richard Hutten. Their qualitative, innovative and sustainable products are sold in 55 countries around the world.

Offecct believes that Corporate Social Sustainability (CSR) is as important as quality and design, which is evident in the choice of materials, energy, transportation and logistics. Many of Offecct´s products have been approved by the Nordic ecolabel. Offecct products are spread in prestigious public spaces around the world (MoMA New York) and offices (Skype, MTV studio New York, Microsoft Hong Kong).

Presented at Milan Furniture Fair, the Carry On stool is Mattias Stenberg’s first design for Offecct. It looks like candies to me!

Florence Rolando

Florence Rolando (journalist, co-founder of Bubble Trade Shows) was the original Founder of Pirouette in early 2009.
