Multidisciplinary studio Esp No. 1, run by two veterans of the creative industry, is a making modern unisex clothing for children. Their focus is on classic and versatile pieces both sophisticated and understated with a cool flavour, at reasonable prices.  Their A/W14 was shot by LA based photographer Emily Ulmer. Esp No.1 offers adult silhouettes in miniature proportions and the core range of premium denim, available year-round in various washes and colors, is complemented by ultrasoft knits, wovens and accessories, all manufactured in the USA with a keen eye for craftsmanship.

Their A/W 14 collection features aesthetic of modern outdoor adventures, color cues from mountain climbing, hiking and camping gear using bright colours. There’s an interesting range of camouflage print designed by the artist and director Mike Mills.  Last but not least, the collection introduces jeans in an amazing shadow tie&dye, inspired by the natural beauty of the Aurora Borealis, the most psychedelic natural phenomenon.


Florence Rolando

Launched in London in early 2009 by Florence Rolando (journalist, co-founder of Bubble Trade Shows) Pirouette Blog has been a reference in the industry since 2009 with its combined business and consumer view of the children’s market. A fantastic resource for children’s fashion, design, trends and culture, it aims to support creativity and talent but it also does this by talking about life, family, culture and health.

Florence is an international leader in the industry (8 years as a Milk Collaborator, contributor to Naif Magazine in Spain, co-founder of Bubble Trade Shows in New York and London).
