Van Staeyen interior architects from Antwerp were given the task to design a kids bedroom in an classical mansion. Her’s what they did…
My imagination goes wild when I see the photos. I dream to be this little boy’s friend and spend days with him playing in his room. It’s like to have your own intimate playground, nest and drawing studio space all together. With an attic, the ultimate place to spend infinite hours playing or dreaming.
“We strive to transcend standard solutions through creative, logical and especially liveable designs” says the Van Staeyen website. The firm scouts the best materials from classical to timeless to futuristic.
Furniture design is their second nature: cabinets, seating furniture, tables, beds, garden furniture, railings, kitchens and bathrooms…they will work with your own existing furniture to re-dress it, with your own suggestions, to with their design to make new seating furniture. The flexibility is great and the creativity infinite.
Personally I would live it all in their hands!
