It must be the weather getting colder or just the cuteness factor of their pictures but I fell head over heels for this adorable thoughtful American knitwear company: Misha and Puff. They just make the most irresistible and unique pieces that I have seen in a long time.
Misha and Puff was founded in 2011 by Anna Wallack after her new-born son spent his first New England winter keeping warm and cozy swaddled head-to-toe in knits she had made herself. Each piece is hand knit in Peru by an obviously super talented group of ladies whose amazing work allows them to support their families.
I love the idea that you can find the name of the woman who knitted your piece on the hand tag. It is a very thoughtful touch and a great invitation to travel. There really is a lot of love put in those knitted pieces… Love for craftsmanship, beautiful designs and incredible fabrics. They use a merino wool that is unbelievably soft and… washable! Some pieces are made of baby alpaca which is as soft as cashmere…
I also love their color range which gives you a lot of mix and match options.
At Misha and Puff, they believe in “making beautiful, functional pieces to last forever” and they can’t go wrong with such a great motto. It is definitively a brand that is beautiful inside and out.
