True Artist is a new Spanish brand that offers a wide range of kidswear and accessories exploring the world of emotions, the virtual and the intangible through art. Their colourful designs are contemporary and functional, focusing on high-quality fabrics and materials manufactured mainly in Spain and Portugal. Besides the main seasonal collection, released twice a year, True Artist also offers over-the-top capsule collections featuring artists’ collaborations. Their first collection will be released on 28 July 2024.
The brand comes from the creativity of Bobo Choses’ Founder and Creative Director, Adriana Esperalba, with the purpose to explore new territories outside the Bobo Choses’ universe. True Artist is born to connect with a new community of families worldwide who understand modernity as timeless and seek quality basics with quirky accents and color. Built to deliver comfortable and contemporary Nordic-european style.
True Artist main collection – The painter’s basic palette
The main seasonal collection, released twice a year, is the foundation of an everyday wardrobe with timeless plain colour pieces made with high-quality, sustainable fabrics and designed to last beyond the season. The main collection is like the painter’s primary palette.
True Artist Études capsules. Artistic and time limited
The Études capsules consist of more complex and detailed garments to combine with the Main Collection. Études are characterized by their prints, in the form of artistic sketches, and for being time-limited edition pieces. Études capsules may include collaborations with contemporary artists and products with shorter sales periods.
The Art of Sustainability
True Artist designs and produces always based on respect for the environment, both social and natural, and uses the best standards materials to reduce the impact they generate.
The cotton yarn is organic. The cotton was grown without pesticides, herbicides, or other chemical fertilizers. Its sustainable production system also helps replenish and maintain the health of the soil.
The collection features 100% LENZING™ Lyocell. Each Lenzing fiber is made from cellulose, a natural and biodegradable component that requires low water and energy consumption. Its properties are similar to viscose but much more sustainable since they do not use toxic chemicals in its preparation.
Locally Made
95% of the True Artist collection is produced between Spain and Portugal, and their partners join the OEKO-TEX certification. This independent system verifies no harmful substances in textiles or the manufacturing phases. In addition, all their suppliers have to agree on a Code of Conduct, which helps the brand share and demands fair work and a safe work environment.
