Aspen? No, Central Park. Yes, this is a cold cold winter with record amounts of snow. These pictures were taken last week by a friend.

It reminds me the excitement created in 2005 by Finger in the nose with their gorgeous down jackets, so puffy, so well executed in top quality material and full of clever technical details. It was probably the first garment ever created specifically for children with such luxury and fashion content.

I have to say that it really pays off to invest in high quality when it comes to urban puff jackets because it makes such a difference when warmth is combined with lightness.

I am sure that we all dream to put our winter gear in storage pretty soon, but before doing so, here’s 3 brands to keep in mind…for next winter!
