Walking through the graduate show at RCA (Royal College of Art in London), is a great moment for the eyes and for the brain. Architecture, design products, videos, visual communication, textile…it concentrates amazing creativity and vision. In a strictly visual point of view, it is a bit like “children’s playroom-meets-art class-meets-science laboratory” : loaded with small scale things well aligned and done with absolute care, using all sorts of textures, materials and colors. Absolutely exciting and stimulating for the eyes. And as Paul Smith would say, inspiration can be found in everything. It seems to me, if not obvious to everyone, a good example of this way of thinking.
