Lilou wakes up every morning with a smile. Naturally curious, she keeps asking questions and she talks a lot. She is also very dreamy, she loves listening to stories and she is very sensitive to music. Elen Tardivel her mother is a fashion designer, and the co-founder of Mimi cocotte et les petits loups.

What is your big dream? To stay with my parents all my life long
Do you have special powers? Because I live in Singapore, I can speak 3 languages: French, English and Mandarin!
Who is the strongest person in the world? My daddy
What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a gardener, have a secret garden and invent new vegetables
If you would be an artist who would you like to be? I would like to be a musician or a painter
What is the best thing in life? Eating!
Are you scared of anything? I am scared of spiders and cockroaches
Your favourite films, books, apps? My favourite book is Princesses of the world and my favourite movie is Scooby-Doo
Something you did recently that you really loved? I cooked pancakes with my mum and played Doddle cards with my dad
The best holidays you ever had? Ko Samui in Thailand, I loved the “tuc-tuc”!
A city/place that you would dream to visit? My grandfather’s country, Madagascar
Your favorite belonging? Fistoulic and Dam-Dam, my 2 soft toys I sleep with
The next item you would so dearly love to get? The Juicy Crush Dolls
If you had a magic wand, what would you do with it right now? I would like to turn my parents into a king and queen, my flat into castle and me and my sister into princesses

A place you saw when you were a child, and that made its mark on you? When I was child, I lived in Algeria with my family. I remember a huge and fantastic beach with sand dunes. During weekends, I would look for sand tortoises that I collected and displayed on my terrace. I loved talking care of them!
The place you love near your home? We live in Singapore on the East-Coast. We love spending time at the beach because there is a great family atmosphere; there is a nice mixture of people of different cultures and it’s so nice to see my two daughters play with others children from all over the world.
Where do you dream to go for your next family holiday? We would like to go to New-Zealand and cross the country by camping-van.
The film that you love to see with the whole family? The last movie the whole family watched together was The Croods. We loved it, it is so enjoyable!
The book on your bedside table? In my youngest days, John Irving was my favorite author. I can not put his books down. At the moment, I’m re-reading 2 of his novels A prayer for Owen and The world according to Garp. It still grabs me.
The children’s brands your cherish? I love Bobo Choses’ trendy style ; Bodebo’s original volumes, sparkling colors and edgy style; Jumina’s poetic and beautiful world ; Mini & Maximus’ rock’n’roll touch
Last thing you bought for your child? I recently bought Lilou matriochkas (russian wood doll) to decorate her room. But she plays with them instead, these 5 dolls live great adventures!

The online destinations that inspire you? I love Pinterest, it’s a never ending source of inspiration
The product/purchase that changed your life? When I was 14 years old, my grandmother offered me the most magical gift : a sewing-machine. I started sewing, unstitching, pining, over sewing… This machine has never left me, I still have it more than 20 years later!
Do you have a big dream and if so what is it? A happy life for my 2 adorable daughters! And my clothing brand Mimi cocotte et les petits loups to dress little girls from all over the world!
Something that you did in your childhood that you makes you laugh today? I dressed my (poor) dog with socks and panties…Very often ;)
Anything you want to tell? Believe in yourself, give yourself the means to succeed, be patient and above all persevere!
