August and Noor, age 3 (in April) live in Tonganoxie, Kansas USA.

Their Mum Kara works in the field of rare genetics. She describes August and Noor as her “Miracle babies after almost 10 years of trying to conceive and having given up”. The endured a tough start to life born at 28 weeks and weighing only 2.5 lbs they spent 3 months in NICU. They are now thriving, and obviously have a great sense of humour!

Kara describes herself as “a clothes fanatic”.

I’m obsessed with maker momma women who launch brands, design clothes/prints, make clothes…most often the brands I choose fall into that category, I also look for sustainable fashion production choices that are circular and fight against exploitative labor…these brands are out there and I want to show the world the VALUE of what they are creating!
