Day 1 The Rendez-Vous Kids Digital Fashion Week Rundown
Tia Cibani Kids, Loud Apparel, Young Soles and new kid on the block Lmn3 gave us a sneak peek of their SS21 collections on the launch day of The Rendez-Vous Kids Digital Fashion Week August edition. The day was jam packed full of insider views, alla prima teasers for @gambrell_ insta live on Tuesday at 8pm UK plus videos, interviews, paper doll looks with the finale to the day being a panel zoom with trend forecaster WGSN. Let’s just recap on our four featured brands and their digital SS21 sneak peeks.
Tia Cibani Kids SS21 ‘Nur’
NUR is a common Arabic name meaning LIGHT. Tia looks toward the light as inspiration for her Spring Summer 2021 collection. The collection was developed under difficult circumstances. At times Tia felt frivolous to think of fabrics, colours, patterns and fashion when the world around us seemed to be in such despair over the pandemic, and the world’s social and political struggles – but it was the light that kept nudging and encouraging her to stay focused.
To keep living, keep growing, keep our humanity, keep our passions, keep our creativity, keep our strength and keep loving one another. More powerfully than words can express, our children contribute hope and inspiration to those ends. As parents and grandparents, as close friends and family, all of us understand. For Tia the simple act of dressing her children in the morning, or on a special occasion, or in the evening before dinner becomes an evocation of optimism and love.
Tia’s SS21 collection is available for wholesale orders at The Playtime B2B Market place now!

LOUD APPAREL SS21 ‘THAT SUMMER ‘FEELIN ‘
Inspired by the 1977 song ‘Mr Blue Sky’ from Electric Light Orchestra THAT SUMMER ‘FEELIN is the title to Loud Apparel’s SS21 collection. It’s about summer and the energy, positivity and smiles that this season brings to all of us and our children. The collection’s line up follows the iconic characteristic of the brand, with black and off white, shepherd check monochromes, a hint of coral and pastel blue, a dye effect and a selection of denim pieces all shaped and designed with fun and exciting details.

Young Soles SS21 ‘The Good Life’
Popular 1970’s sitcom ‘The Good Life’ forms the inspiration to Young Soles SS21 collection – a nostalgic sense of yearning for simpler more innocent times. Concepts like ‘self-sufficiency’, ‘staycations’ and ‘grow-your-own’ project an earthy colour palette of chestnut brown, clay, mustard and pea green complemented by bright primary colours lilac, ocean blue, red and mellow yellow.
For SS21 we also see the introduction a “British Heritage Collection” to the Young Soles family with softer flexible TR rubber-soles extending their range.
Lmn3 SS21 ‘The Circle’
The feel good kids brand is new label Lmn3 tag line. Created more as a feeling, and a reaction by designer and founder Natasha to the state of fashion and its overall environmental impact. This is a personal venture a conscious choice by Natasha the founder of established label Miss L Ray.
The first collection is titled The Circle, a translation of the Japanese word Enso that conveys the “expression of the moment”. The Spring/Summer ‘21 collection is strongly connected to the sustainable world of Eco-friendly fabrics. LMN3/Elementary aims to reinvent basics and embrace comfort. Origami, the traditional Japanese paper-folding technique form the inspiration for features pleats and folds throughout the collection.
