The Tiny Show On Tour, Los Angeles
3-5 August 2025

Playtime have announced a new smaller travelling show. The Tiny Show to take place once a year in different locations, this first time it hits LA.

As the biggest city in California and the second largest urban area after New York City, Los Angeles plays a central role. It’s an economic driver, but also an influential city in the United States. With the children’s apparel market in America projected to grow at an annual rate of 1.46% between 2025 and 2029 (source: statista.com), California, as a significant contributor to this market, is showing a strong demand for children’s fashion and lifestyle products.

Buyers from the entire state, as well as the surrounding states (Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, Texas…) and even British Columbia and Alberta in Canada, never miss the opportunity to attend events at the CMC. By collaborating with California Market Center (CMC), Playtime is uniting its forces with a major actor who brings the biggest selection of kids’ fashion and lifestyle brands to theWest Coast for LA Kids Market.

With a long, rich history as the first B2B sales point on the West Coast, CMC already welcomes 20 showrooms year round that represent more than 250 of the biggest international brands and local labels who are independent, creative, or eco-responsable. Some of these showrooms are held by agents or distributors. Important brands like Molo, Rylee + Cru, Cozmo, Grech & Co, Pink Chicken, Super Smalls, CarlijnQ, Wynken, Camper, The New Chapter, Oldsoles, Shade Critters, Mini Melissa, Scotch & Soda, Miles the Label, and more exhibit at CMC. It was therefore a logical choice for The Tiny Show on Tour Los Angeles to join the August edition of LA Kids Market, its most popular, and take over 5 spaces on the floor dedicated to children’s brands.

The Tiny Show on Tour LA will present an offer of brands aligned with the needs and trends of the market, guaranteeing buyers will find a high quality selection adapted to their customers. To further accompany brands on this project, a new tool for booking appointments will be developed by our teams to allow them to create direct contact with buyers.

Situated in downtown Los Angeles, the CMC is at the heart of the LA Fashion District. The Tiny Show on Tour Los Angeles will spend 3 days on the 5th floor of building C.
