Antoine
What do you want to be when you grow up I want to be an architect
Someone you admire? Kelly Slater
What is your big dream? To be a Star Wars jedy
Are you scared of anything? I am scared of Varans from Comodo islands because they run very fast and are dangerous
Your favourite films and books My favorite film is Star Wars and my favourite book is Lucky Luke
Something you did recently that you really loved Visit Cap Canaveral because climbing in rockets and simulating flights is extremely impressive
The best holidays you ever had In Florida last year when I went to visit my godmother in her beach house in Cocoa Beach
A place that you would dream to visit New-York, because I love skyscrapers and I would like to get inspiration for my future work
Your favorite outfit or the piece your like the most from your wardrobe The T-shirt that my mum did in her last summer collection for Juliet & the Band with a scooter on the back
The next item you would so dearly love to get A new Star Wars lego
If you had a magic wand, what would you do with it right now? I would eat 2000 candy cans
Anne-Laure
A place you saw when you were a child, and that made its mark on you I went on a student exchange with my class when I was only 12 years old, in Michigan, USA, I will always remember my first time going bowling or taking a Drive-In take away…I had never seen that in France before! Everything looked and felt like the proper “American Dream”. Although I could hardly speak a word of English and I really struggled without my parents staying in an American Family, I think that’s when I started to develop my love for living in foreign countries!
The place you Iove near your home In London, I love Portobello road for its fruits and vegetable daily market, the small and original shops in Notting Hill and Pizza East in North Kensington. In Hong Kong, I love hicking on Dragon’s back with my children when it is winter time and going to the beach in Big Wave Bay when it gets hot. I love the Dimsum restaurant in Happy Valley or Dim Tai Fung in Causeway Bay. Having moved around a lot around the word, my kids are used to eat Asian food as much as Western food, nothing makes them more happy than a lunch at the Thai restaurent in Shek’o Village with Chicken satays and fried rice – a very local experience.
Where do you dream to go for your next family holiday Australia, Sydney
A film that you saw recently and that staid with you? Intouchable
The film that you love to see with the whole family? The Sound of Music
The book on your bedside table I have little time to read with my 3 children so for now, I tend to have lots of fashion and deco magazines on my bedside table rather than books…but I hope I’ll get back to reading soon
The children’s brands your cherish I mostly dress my children with my own Brand Juliet & the Band but I also love to get pieces from Belgian brands such as Ten or Bellerose.
(The children’s stores you love to visit and buy from I love to buy from Merci in Paris, I always go to Harrods to buy toys for Christmas and birthdays. and generally speaking I tend to stop by and browse in most of the children shops I come across to anywhere I am in the world. I find interesting pieces almost everywhere, from a skirt on the street market in Luang Prabang (Laos) to nice shoes in a posh shop in Hong Kong.
What do you buy online? I buy wall stickers, art and crafts things for my kids and their friends, children underwear and shampoos/ soaps for kids. More generally speaking anything for which I know exactly what brand I want and I don’t need to check out first.
A website that inspires you Netaporter.com, having an online boutique myself, I am totally fascinated by the success story
Last item you added to your child’s wardrobe I bought a very nice dark green crinkled cotton shirt for my son in Seminiak Bali during our last Easter holidays. Light and trendy
Favourite pieces in your child’s wardrobe I love seeing Antoine wearing his denim-blue shirt and his stripy shorts from Juliet & the Band’s spring summer collection 2012
