“My daughter Lara is complete tomboy and shy but quirky and imaginative, passionate about her tree house” says Francesca Longrigg, a songwriter, at present of cd ‘The Land of Sometimes ‘ for children.

Francesca
A place you saw when you were a child, and that made its mark on you? A castle in North Italy which is in a small village on the top of a hill, near Biella.I loved it as a child, and we stayed nearby in the mountains, eating polenta out of a cauldron and running after the big cows with huge bells round their necks. As I grew up I returned many times, and it became a very significant place for me, I even wrote my very first song there.
The place you love near your home Hampstead Heath
Where do you dream to go for your next family holiday ? Thailiand
A film that you saw recently and that staid with you? I am Love
The film that you love to see with the whole family? The Railway Children
The book on your bedside table Medieval Lives
The children’s brands your cherish I love Gorgeous
The children’s stores you love to visit and buy from Hamleys and ‘red shoes’ in north london
Latest item you added to your Lara’s wardrobe Hard to buy anything for Lara as she wont wear anything but jeans, so I bought her nice jeans from Zara
Favourite pieces in your child’s wardrobe Her Christmas skirt, bright red velvet with holly and bells in the lining
My daughters Jasmine and Iris are totally addicted to the Land of Sometimes. They know the lyrics by heart, and we only got the CD a week ago! Their favourite songs are Wishes, The Willow Tree and The Electric Volcano. Their dream is to meet Lara, who is part of the singing. They want to offer The Land of Sometimes to their school friends so that they can all sing the songs together. I call that a success!
