Naim is a very curious boy who, more than anything, likes to meet other children and to play indefinitely with them. Laure Demazy, the mother, is the publisher and chief editor of Travel-Jam, a family travel/ lifestyle magazine.

A place you saw when you were a child that made its mark on you My grandparent’s house in a little village, South West of France. It was located at the end of an inclined little road, surrounded by corn fields. I remember that little road, after a long trip we were screaming “here we are!”. It represents my childhood holidays with my sister and my cousins. Endless hide and seek in the fields, plucking the chicken playing with the rabbits in the barn. It is also the memory of a beloved aunt, Tati Jo; I thought she had magic because for years she made me believe that her car could fly.
The place you love near your home I live in the 10th district (arrondissement) in Paris, near the Canal St Martin. In this area I love the party store La Pinata and restaurants like La Cantine de Quentin where you find yourself whispering “yum…huuum” during the whole meal. There is also Maria Luisa, the best pizzeria in Paris. When it comes to culture, I love the 104 (an art space in the 19th arrondissement), the Musée en Herbe and Baubourg.
Where do you dream to go for your next family holiday New York! I’ve been there with Naïm last year and I want to spend more time there, the three of us.
The film that you love to see with the whole family? I love showing Naim the films I loved as a child. We sing together while watching Annie!!!
The book on your bedside table Le Poids du Papillon by Erri De Luca.
The children’s brands your cherish Mini Rodini. I was a store owner when that brand was created. I was the first one to carry the brand in France. Naïm wears Mini Rodini almost every day, since he was a child.
The children’s stores you love to visit and buy from I don’t buy anything from stores in France and I don’t buy much from boutiques in general. When I am abroad I like to find fun candies to bring back, children’s books, cosmetics that I can’t find here and sneakers. That’s all. I only go to a store when I can’t find what I want online.
What do you buy online? I buy all my son’s clothes online on minirodini.com and kidsofluxury.com which most of the time carries the pieces that I like from Soft Gallery and Popupshop … at a bargain! I love online shopping and I spend a lot of time looking for books, posters, etc.
A website that inspires you jakandjil.com. I spend hours looking carefully at some details of the looks, at the cast and at the composition of the photos by Tommy Ton.
The last item you added to your child’s wardrobe Sneakers. A pair of grey Jordan, Dunks Mario Bros ultra collectors and a pair of Feiyue with scratches. I love sneakers!!!
Favourite pieces in your child’s wardrobe His Talc coat
