Magasin M1 is a new design store in Paris, located in the vibrant “Docks en Seine” that also hosts La Cite de la Mode. Decorative objects, furniture, lighting, but also tableware, jewelery and books for enthusiasts of innovative shapes and exceptional craftsmanship. Here’s a small selection of things we liked for kids.
Y’A Pas Le Feu au Lac –  YO – Designed by Olivier Cortes with birch plywood material.

Oliver says that when he was a child, he loved building huts by accumulating branches, leaves and other plants. This construction method is the starting point of Yo which revisits assembling game in a simple and fun way. Inspired by plant forms, Yo consists of a main body (trunk of a tree) on which we put additional modules (leaves). Its intuitive and modular shape leads us to experiment and create a light, balanced structure, and generates new stories and adventures in our mind.

Tica is a chair made of woven scoubidou, designed and manufactured exclusively  by  The Rocking Company specialist in children’s furniture craftsmen. We like the beautiful and durable design : it fears no UV or rain so you can choose to have it inside or outside of the house. It features a retro design, irresistible comfort and timeless look equipped with rubber tips for more stability this will be one of your little one’s favourite items.
