It’s always a pleasure to visit Florence, although it can take ages to reach the famous capital of Tuscany. Our flight landed in Pisa, and we only arrived at final destination three hours later. But Pitti Bimbo is definitely a must visit fair, not to mention that the Tuscan beauty, the unique light and the exquisite food banishes any complaints in the blink of an eye

Showing a large spectrum of collections, from Italian historical brands (I pinco Pallino) to licenced  world famous names (D&G, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry) to streetwear (Fiorucci, Pepe Jeans, Diesel) to the new generation of successful players (Essentiel girls, Imps and Elfs, Antik Batik), to young designers (Huckelbones), Pitti Bimbo gives the best overview of what’s available on the market.

We liked the section called The Apartment with its wooden lightboxes frames and tables showcasing collections of vintage objects, and an arty installation from Milk magazine. Bonnie Young, Ann Valerie Hash, Loica Bonini, Nathalie Verlinder, Caramel Baby and Child, etc.

Our booth award went to American Outfiters who planted a desert tent on a floor of pebbles.
