Classic and contemporary, carefully tailored yet comfortable to wear, it’s Monamici, a Swedish brand created in 2005 by Helene Edsta and Karolin af Jochnick. Most of the clothes are made with organic fabrics; the company respects the environment and working ethics. A true, sincere mission for the two founding sisters. Monamici Autumn/Winter 2010 collection has a bohemian look with a modern feeling. Liberty patterns are mixed with classic stripes and checked patterns. The collection includes soft colours such as dusty pink, light blue, olive green but also typical autumn colours as burgundy, brown and dark blue. The fabrics include teddy plush and hemp, a great ecological and soft combination.

Monamici is available at Tiphaine, a new very cute store in Paris. Thiphaine, 24 rue Saint-Louis-en-l’ile 75004 Paris (near Notre dame). And also Sweet William, 112 North 6th street, Brooklyn.
