Paris plays host to more than the Olympics
The Spring Summer ‘25 kids’ fashion & lifestyle selling season hits France just as the world’s focus goes Olympic in the beautiful city of Paris. A Summer of sport is on the cards and we are ready to join in!
Playtime Paris is an International trade show with buyers, brands, press and visitors from across the globe. So in this edition we look at the market in China, asking Ivo Au Yeung of C.O.T.E collective & Rollingkids to list 6 (a lucky number for business according to Chinese culture) pieces of advice we should know if we want to be successful in the Chinese market. USA based stylist Maria Montane selects her cool summer swim edit. And Escada – Global creative director Ioana de Vilmorin tells us how having strong female mentorship taught her to approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, reinforcing the belief that success is achieved through resilience and
unwavering determination.
We look at how Petite Amalie has grown from the modest 20 piece rail at their first trade show in 2017 to the collection flying out the doors at Harrods. Petite Amalie was a ‘Pirouette find’ we knew was destined for amazing things. The same went for Sticky Lemon but doing it in reverse by starting with bags and accessories and now having recently launched their first clothing collection to great success.
Plus we look at why the kids’ fashion and lifestyle industry has shied away from TikTok when they should be getting onboard to meet the incoming generation
of customers.
Make sure to check out our centre pages for Pirouette’s picks of the show plus follow us on the socials as we say Bonjour and have a look at a selection of French brands at the show.
Have a great show!

Faster, Higher, Stronger... Together.
