What is it about miniatures and miniturisation that we find so fascinating, so compelling? We start out with doll houses and toy soldiers. Some of us when we grow up carry on with model trains, historical figurines or vintage doll collections. At home we have many little neighbourhoods around the house, populated by Lego personalities, Sylvanians or Playmobil people. Imagine an entire city, however, built up in HO model train scale, a metropolis mirroring one in real life, only at one 100th of the size, or even smaller!
