“What The World Eats” photo series shows twenty families around the globe with a week’s worth of groceries. From Mexico to Italy, Australia, Equador or Mali, you learn how much people spend and what they eat. The Al Haggan family of Kuwait City for instance spends 63.63 dinar or $221.45, while the Namgay family of Shingkhey Village in Bhutan spends 224.93 ngultrum or $5.03, the Revis family of North Carolina in the US $341.98, the Aboubakar family of Breidjing Camp in Chad 685 CFA Francs or $1.23.
