What would you do if you daughter came to you and said that she wanted to change the future, but to do so she needs to stand outside the Swedish Parliament every Friday rather than attending school? Greta Thunberg 16 year old Swedish national and climate change activist is rather astounding in her resolution to make a change.
Friday’s school strikes means missing school whilst she stands outside the parliament building. And as Greta admits in the Rolling Stone video it was not her parents preferred option of how she might increase awareness of climate change. However I imagine Greta can be quite persuasive and her parents support her commendable cause, and astonishing conviction.
I wish I could be as committed and dedicated as Greta, she’s vegan and she never flies, an individual who practices what she preaches. A wise head on young shoulders that is already making a difference.
