Cy Twombly
Not photography, but still within the realms of representation and of great inspiration, A Look At… Cy Twombly.
Is this what it feels like, when as a young child drawing is drawing and has no set rules? There is no up or down, no upside down and coming off the canvas is a natural consequence. There is beauty in the naive, free, chaotic and unrestrained pencil/brush strokes of the late Cy Twombly. His work brings out a sigh of relief in me, a moment of peace and clarity.
