UK’s super brand Caramel Baby & Child celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. On this occasion, they opened two new locations in London : a store in Soho and a pop up in London’s Spitalfields. Let us take you for a tour.
The Pop up store is located on Brushfield Street, with direct access to & from Spitalfields, London’s oldest market. Vintage lovers dwell there on Thursday mornings, to find the most extraordinary pieces and some pretty exquisite looks too. Caramel’s new pop up is adding to the local colour with its loud, fun & vibrant space. A real must-see!
Caramel Baby&Child’s founder & creative director Eva Karayiannis is generously sharing her best spots in this area of town.
What are your favourite spots near the store? I love shopping with my daughters in the vintage stores surrounding Brick Lane.
The restaurant where you go for a quick delicious healthy lunch? Rochelle Canteen on Arnold Circus. I love that it was converted from the old school bike shed and the menu feels so wholesome. I also love Leila’s Shop on Calvert Avenue.
The restaurant to go with kids? Pizza East. A really fun place to eat with family.
We also asked her what are the 3 items she recommend as birth presents.
“We have recently introduced a baby gifting service which is the perfect place to shop for birth presents all year round. I always love to gift a beautiful wool blanket, like the Rowan blanket, a pair of little booties, like the Ash Booties and a little hat & mitten set for the colder months (like Aloe Baby Gift Set.
Open seven days a week until February 21 : 43 Brushfield Street, London E1 6AA. Monday to Saturday 10:30-6:30pm, Sunday 11-6pm.
In Soho, near Regent’s Street, Caramel Baby&Child‘s store is part of an urban village that has design hotel Ham Yard at its heart. The space is rather small but welcoming and harmonious with light streams through its large windows that run the length of the store. It is Inspired by travel, and keeps up with the international crowd that view Ham Yard Hotel as their home-from-home. It is an elegant and understated shop of perfect gifts, toys, books & accessories, on top of Caramel’s own collection of refined simplicity (newborn to 8 years).
Caramel Baby&Child in Soho : 4 Denman Place W1D 7AH.
