More evidence that the rejuvenation of bricks & mortar is underway. Paade Mode have just opened their flagship store in Riga. Carmel London has a new location on Madison Avenue in New York whilst at the weekend Charlie & Lu opened a new store in Essen. In a recent panel talk at Playtime, New York panelist Luc Lesire (brands, Like Flo & Nono) heralded this shift of consumers looking for the bricks & mortar customer experience.
As such we are seeing stores open with enthusiasm aiming to deliver unique customer experience, quality products & individual offerings of carefully selected labels.
Which takes us to Charlie & Lu and their new bricks & mortar store that just opened in Düsseldorf:
We will open our Kids’ Fashion Store on August 13th, 2022 in Essen-Rüttenscheid. We will offer high-quality, fun-loving and sustainable fashion here. Our goal is to create a shopping experience with an absolutely high quality of stay. Inspired by shops from the big cities, we have not only beautified the store but also the whole building with flowers on the facade. We would like to offer real shopping, Bricks & Mortar. high level is a good keyword here :-)
After more than 15 years in a fashion group in Düsseldorf, it was time to take our love of the topic into our own hands :-)
