Pirouette 10 questions game:
Q&A between 2 players – 5 questions & 5 answers each. Both players are interviewer and interviewee. This time with kid’s fashion photographer Molly Magnuson (M) and child model Chloe Leor (C). Let’s start !
GO!
Molly asks, Chloe answers…
M: If you had three wishes what would they be?
C:
- To win a million dollars. I would save it until I’m older to buy a farm with horses and a lot of other animals that I could take care of.
- I could have magical powers to save people when they are in trouble. I wish I had telekinesis so I could move objects around without touching them.
- That people would live forever, but only good people!
M: What do you love about modeling?
C: I love wearing all of the different clothes. I love meeting new cool friends. I love meeting new photographers. I really want to be a photographer when I am older. I learn a lot watching them shoot. I love trying new poses and making them happy. Some of the cool photographers even let me take pictures with their cameras!
Modeling is a lot of work sometimes, but I am so lucky to be able to do it so much. I love seeing my pictures in magazines and showing my friends and family! One day I want to see myself on a billboard in Times square. My sister, Summer would love that!
M:Do you believe in Aliens? Why if yes and why not if no?
C: Lol..I don’t Believe in aliens because nobody has ever seen their bodies, heads or tentacles. Some people say they have seen their spaceships, but I’m not sure I believe that! If there were aliens I would love to meet them and get magical powers from them that could make me read people’s minds!
M: What is the best thing about your life right now?
C: My family and how they love me and take care of me.
M: What is your favorite outfit right now?
C: Jean shorts and tank tops. I also like wearing rompers!
SWAP!
Chloe asks, Molly answers…
C: If you could photograph anyone in the entire world, who would it be? Why?
M: I honestly just want to photograph kids. If I had the opportunity to photograph kids around the world that would be a dream!
C: When you were my age (8), what was your favorite outfit?
M: When I was 8 years old I loved Benetton and Esprit. I had an Esprit outfit that was a blouse and skirt and it had sailboats on it. I also wore my favorite outfits over and over so my mom would have to wash it every night so I could wear it again the next day.
C: What is the funniest picture you have ever taken?
M: I am not sure on a specific image but I can tell you that I would love some day to do a bloopers series. When you have babies and animals on set there can be lots of funny moments and bloopers. Like nose picking, spit ups, lickings and dog wrangling. I did photograph a baby face emotions book and had to get a range of emotions from babies. Here is a blooper pic that didn’t make it into the book:
C: What is one thing you do every day that makes you happy?
M: I tell myself everyday how thankful I am to have what I have and do what I love.
C: When did you decide to be a fashion photographer and why?
M: I have always photographed kids whether it was personal work when I was doing 19th century processes. I used to work for the 40 x 80 polaroid studio and it wasn’t until I had my son Levi that I went out on my own to do kid’s fashion photography. It just kind of evolved to where I am now but I have always loved kids as a subject for my photography. And of course I love fashion (I did name my son after jeans, lol).
