Photographer and video artist Robbie Cooper is mostly interested in identity and the media. Based in New York, the artist used to be a photojournalist, working for magazines around the world. She recently launched Immersion, a project that records video of people “through the screen” as they play games, use the internet and watch TV.  Here’s a selection of the children’s section : Jack Peacock, age 1, watching Peppa Pig 2009, Drew Hugh, age 7, playing Hulk, 2008 and Savannah Shimmin, age 2, watching Monsters Inc 2009. I guess my face looked pretty much like this when I discovered her work.
