It’s the new museum that everyone is talking about in fashion circles : Le Grand Musée du Parfum, located in 73 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in a historic mansion that was formerly home to Christian Lacroix’s headquarters. Four floors – 1500 square-meter, are devoted to the history of perfume from ancient Egypt to present day. The museum proposes a multi-sensory experience, as visitors will be able to explore a unique collection of over 60 scents, as well as a slew of interactive exhibits. The aim of the museum is to share with the public France’s savoir-faire in the realm of fragrance, the creative process surrounding it, and perfumers’ artistic and scientific approaches to its conception.

No doubt this fascinating venue will become a “must visit” experience for Parisians and tourists alike.
