“Media companies are going to become retailers and retailers are going to become media companies, it’s inevitable” recently said Net-a-porter founder Nathalie Massenet in an interview with the Financial Times. Forward thinking Marie Soudre-Richard, queen of the online children’s business was very quick to see the trend. This month she launched Little Fashion book, a high quality magazine displaying all the items sold on her e-store, LFG. Part of the adventure are Violaine Belle-Croix, former chief editor of Milk, and Carole Daprey, author of “mobilier Design pour enfants. It is clear that Sudre-Richard has not only a talent for scouting trends, but also for surrounding herself with talented people.
