It’s always an early wake up when coming to New York from London. What’s so great about NY is that you will find life at any hour of the day. My daughter Jasmine and Iris were thrilled to be able to buy fresh mango and big blue bubble gums at a Deli at 6am.
We stayed at The Standard and we loved it. It is not designed for kids per se, but we found it kids friendly. A part from the elevator featuring a video that scared Jasmine, the girls had lots of fun in their room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Meatpacking District. We found a very good deal via Tablet Hotels, always worth checking.
At 7am we were in Flat Iron with Little Alex walking Louis the dog.
At 8 am we visited my favourite Fleat market, on 25th street.
At 9am it was already baking hot, and we came back to the Meatpacking District.
