Pirouette One to Watch Winners ss18: Playtime Paris

Playtime Paris added 50 extra brands to this edition of the kid’s fashion and lifestyle trade show. This meant there was an extra annex added on to the show at the North entrance which as it turned out was where we found one of our Pirouette One to Watch winners. This was a vibrant edition with so much to see but let’s introduce you to the Pirouette One to Watch winners in fashion and design at Playtime Paris for ss18.

Barn of Monkeys 

This is Barn of Monkey’s first collection and first time exhibiting at Playtime Paris. The new brand gives utmost importance to quality & excellence, artistry and eco-responlibilty. The collection is inspired by Jules Vern’s tale of ’80 days around the world’. It focuses on the three primary stages, the first while travelling through the skies, the second sailing the seven seas and a third exploring earthy grounds. We loved the playful detailing of detachable strong popper mix and match pockets. The use of poppers creating on some pieces changeable shapes and graphics. Seriously impressive first collection, can’t wait to see where they go next season !

Banwood 

Banwood balance bikes are really beautifully designed with a lovely strong and timeless aesthetic. We can imagine these being the wheels of choice of for any self respecting young urbanite around the world. This is a family-owned company based in Berlin, Germany, with a passion for creating high-end cycling products for children with the core values of safety, high quality production and timeless design.
