Day 1 to do list

Having had a sneaky peek at a number of the FW24 collections it seems sophistication will be in the air from the 17th of January in Firenze, Florence. ‘Black is back’ for another encore.
We are the first to advocate the use of colour in kidswear and lifestyle, however it’s refreshing to embrace the noire side.

So whether you are just reading this article or attending PB98 here is a list of recommendations from our to do list.

1. Go to the basement level of the main Pavilion building.

Hidden below the vast first floor is an exclusive area dedicated to Inda Kids - an Italian showroom representing some of the biggest names in kids' fashion. When in Italy and you have the opportunity to view the likes Pucci and Balmain in person then grab it.

2. Head back upstairs to Petite Amalie main pavilion (B/10)

Sorely missed after skipping a season Petite Amalie are back at Pitti. A collection not to be missed ‘Enchanted Delight’ is the title and having seen a preview it’s true to the description.

3. Pop to Gingersnaps main pavilion (B/7)

Great range in their collection for boys and girls.

4. Pick up a directory* print zine PB98

Grab a short Italian coffee & have a quick read ;)

5. Pirouette Chat Show, LIVE filming

Quick reminder to head to the UniCredit Bimbo Area & don’t get distracted with chatting on the way!
Remember that this is kids fashion & not adults & have fun with my guests:

  • Fashionista & founder of KIDS magazine Karina Vigier
  • Kids Fashion press elite Linda McLean aka Smudgetikka

Plus a surprise guest or 2.

Then head to the Apartment area to see…

6. Belle Enfant BEAUTE range (A/12)

Known for their beautiful baby collection from 0-2 years this is their first time back to a trade show since covid, and they arrive with their new range of skincare. Everything about it look exquisite. I've asked for a sample to test, excited for this one.

Then a quick step over to..

7. Head back to the main pavilion to Molo for a wee boogie

Dj set with JJ Vannelli, an 8-year-old from Italy and one of the world's youngest DJs.

Then a walk around calling in where takes my fancy before the....

8. Raspberryplum (A/1)

A really interesting collection from Raspberryplum who likes to lead the way not follow. Interestingly pulling on personal heritage - nostalgia yet creative, a newness vibe for the label.

9. Press Dinner

Eat some lovey Italian food with wonderful colleagues and chat kids fashion & lifestyle.

Think thats enough for day 1 ;)
