Elliott Erwitt
A look at… Elliott Erwitt, Magnum photographer born in Paris in 1928.Aged 10, he moved to the USA with his parents. He served as a photographer’s assistant in the 1950s in the United States Army. He is undoubtedly one of the leading photographers of his generation who describes himself as ‘a professional photographer by trade and an amateur photographer by vocation’.
